Aquarium maintenance that keeps the art alive.

Weekly and biweekly care for Central Florida aquariums, with the cleaning, automation and hands-on support that keep a display stable and enjoyable.

Behind the finished display

Maintenance in action.

A look at the hands-on work that keeps aquariums moving in the right direction—from equipment checks and cleaning to careful installation and relocation.

These real service moments show the work behind a clean, stable display.

The maintenance foundation

Care that keeps the display and the system working together.

Every aquarium has its own rhythm: livestock load, equipment, feeding, water chemistry, light, flow and the way it lives in the room. Showcase starts with the system in front of us, then builds a service cadence that supports both its health and its presentation.

Each visit is a practical opportunity to keep the visible display clean while checking the filtration, equipment behavior, livestock condition and small details that can become bigger problems if no one is looking.

Maintenance schedule

Two service cadences. One healthy system.

Weekly and biweekly maintenance share the same professional foundation. The right fit depends on aquarium size, livestock, filtration, stability goals and how hands-on you want to be between visits.

Every other week

Biweekly maintenance

Reliable professional care for stable systems that are suited to an every-other-week service rhythm.

  • Ultra-purified top-off water for evaporation
  • 25–30% water change every other visit, as appropriate for the system
  • Interior and exterior glass cleaning
  • Mechanical filtration cleaned out
  • Water parameters checked and adjusted
  • Supplements added or automatic reservoirs refilled when applicable

Automation

More consistency. Less daily guesswork.

Automation is not about adding gear for its own sake. It is about building reliable routines around dosing, feeding, monitoring, water changes and equipment behavior so the system stays easier to manage between service visits.

Showcase can assess the existing setup, identify the pieces that deserve more consistency, and design a practical improvement path around the aquarium and its owner.

Relocation

Move the system with a plan.

Aquarium relocation takes more than lifting glass and hoping the water clears later. Livestock, rockwork, filtration, plumbing and the restart sequence all need a clear plan before a move, renovation or system transition begins.

Showcase helps coordinate the hands-on work so the aquarium has the best possible path from its existing setup to a stable restart in its new place.

Cleaning & restoration

Bring the display back into focus.

When an aquarium has slipped from stable to overwhelming, the first goal is a realistic recovery plan. Cleaning and restoration address the visible condition of the display while supporting the filtration, water quality and equipment behind it.

That can mean a focused deep clean, a reset of neglected maintenance details, or a phased recovery plan for a system that needs a more deliberate path forward.

Maintenance FAQ

Questions owners ask before getting on a schedule.

How do I know whether weekly or biweekly service is right for me?

That decision comes down to the aquarium’s size, livestock load, filtration, feeding, water chemistry, equipment and how much care is being done between visits. A demanding reef or prominent display often benefits from weekly attention; a stable, appropriately equipped system may be a good biweekly fit.

Do you maintain both saltwater and freshwater aquariums?

Yes. Showcase can evaluate saltwater reef, fish-only, freshwater community and planted systems. The initial request helps determine the right scope.

Can you help with fish, coral and supplies?

Yes. Fish, coral, invertebrates and selected supplies can be sourced through trusted partners. Compatibility, long-term health and the existing system come before simply adding livestock.

Do you offer after-hours service?

After-hours emergency visits may be available for an additional charge. If a pump fails, a leak develops, temperature changes abruptly or livestock is in distress, call directly so the situation can be triaged quickly.
