190 GallonsWall Installation
Built into the room, not just placed against it.

Custom installation, built for long-term care.
This custom 190-gallon in-wall reef represents nearly seven years of continuous care and evolution with Showcase Aquarium Solutions. The system began as a Red Sea Reefer 350, which we maintained from day one for approximately three years before working closely with the client to design and transition into a significantly larger, fully customized display.
Showcase collaborated with the client to determine the aquarium's dimensions, filtration, equipment, and automation, with a focus on creating a system that would require minimal day-to-day involvement. The aquarium was built directly into the wall, allowing the reef to become a seamless part of the home's interior while keeping the filtration and life-support equipment hidden in the garage. This approach provides a clean, unobstructed presentation while significantly reducing equipment noise within the living space.
Inside, a custom and intricately designed aquascape creates the foundation for a mature mixed reef with an emphasis on LPS corals and zoanthids. The coral collection includes a variety of high-end Torch, Hammer, and Zoanthid varieties, complemented by standout livestock such as a Blotchy Anthias, Golden Banana Moray Eel, Harlequin Sweetlips, and an assortment of additional reef inhabitants.
The system incorporates extensive Apex automation, continuous automated water testing, automatic water changes, automated frozen and pellet feeding, and additional monitoring and control designed to maintain consistency while minimizing client involvement.
Now approaching four years since the upgrade, the aquarium continues to be professionally maintained by Showcase Aquarium Solutions on a biweekly basis. From its original system through the design and development of the current 190-gallon display, we have managed its equipment, livestock, coral selection, and long-term progression from day one.
The result is a highly integrated living reef that combines custom design, advanced automation, carefully selected livestock, and nearly seven years of dedicated professional care.
